Congratulations to the Lady Leopard Volleyball team on an outstanding regular season. The Lady Leopards will play their Bi-District game on Monday, November 2nd at 7:00 PM against Madisonville. The game will be played at Fairfield High School. Go Lady Leopards!!!

Red Ribbon Week
Next week is Red Ribbon Week! The dress up themes are:
Monday - "Give Drugs a Rest" (pajama day)
Tuesday - "Team Up Against Drugs" (team/group/squad day - EX: Ninja Turtles, The Three Stooges, Cast of Grey's Anatomy, etc.)
Wednesday - "Drugs do not lead to a happy ending" (Disney OR Halloween Costume Day)
Thursday - "Free Yourself from Drugs" (America day)
Friday - "Send the Cadets Around the World" (Leopard Spirit Theme)

Band Competition
This weekend the band traveled to Glen Rose for the Paluxy Valley Marching Festival where they competed against outstanding programs ranging in size from 2A-6A from the the north Texas area. The LHS Band placed 7th out of 23 bands during preliminaries. After advancing to finals, the band moved up two spots to finish 5th overall. We are extremely proud of the kids and excited with these results!
We invite everyone out to see our last contest performance of Secret Identity for UIL Marching this Saturday, 11:30 AM at Midway Stadium. This is a free event.
Cross Country
The Cross Country ran away with another fantastic season! Congratulations to Bradyn Braziel, Isaac Gallegos and Tiffani Peacock for advancing to the Regional Meet on October 26th!
Varsity Football
Congratulations to the Varsity Football on their first district win! The Leopards beat Groesbeck 17-14. The Leopards will host Rusk on Friday. Go Leopards!

Pink Out Game
This year the Pink Out game, in support of breast cancer awareness month, will be on Friday, October 16th when the Leopards take on the Rusk Eagles at home.
Band Competition
The Lorena High School Band competed at two contests. At the McGregor Bulldog Invitational the band received a Division I rating. At the Midway Marching Preview the band reached its goal to make it into finals and moved up an incredible five spots to finish 5th overall. Congratulations to our band members!
