In Accounting, Michael
Franklin took 10th place; Calculator Applications, James Crepelle
took 30th; Number Sense, Dustin George took 13th; and Ready Writing, Andee Fonseca took 7th place.
In Science, Dustin
George came in 2nd with a score of 96 and qualified for the UIL
State Meet in Austin on May 22nd. Dustin has been
working hard for the last four years and his work paid off. Dustin is also be
eligible for UIL TILF Scholarship. Special thanks to UIL Academic Coaches: Rachel Roessler and Kathy
Westerfield for helping out on the trip to Brenham and coaching the Science and
Accounting students. And a big “thank you,” goes to UIL Academic
Coaches: Debbie Crum (Math), Robin Holt (Ready Writing, Spelling and
Vocabulary, Lit. Crit.), Kathy Rolan (Current Issues and Events), and Janice
Vonasek (Social Studies) for their work and preparation of the students.
